Here at the VA Brochu's kitchen table with John, Charlotte, Katherine, Lauren eating cereal and exploring the wonders of Crayola twistables. Liz & Mom are organizing, maybe more fun at someone else's house. That always seems to be true... Reading A Thousand Splendid Sun by Khaled Hosseini, a stunner of a book, as was The Kite Runner. Gripping plot, great characters, and the ability to paint images with out overkill on details- I love it!
The seven ME Brochus toured the Casa Blanca, el capital, the monumentos. Lo mejor para mi fue cuando sacamos fotos de nosotros con caras bobas enfrente de las luces que eluminan al Washington Monument. I'll have to post them.
Today, banana bread, hide and seek, pre-turkey-daying activities!

They came in droves
They came in droves the little costumed children, to our door with flashing skeleton lights. Some spake the magic, time-worn words, ensuring themselves at least 50 calories of sticky-sweet survival, others, silent, still recieved.
- Cutest costume: puffy shark of our neighbors' son
- Worst costume: snowboarder sans boots, glasses, gloves
- Highlight of the night: Jeff Peterson spoons, spatulas & Sweedish rolling pin in the mail! Hurray from Harrison, ME!
- Still love Flogging Molly!

Barely begninning
So I'm poking and prodding this blog-thing... Mostly, I'd like to be able to share my photos with family and friends. Photos of The Gorge, photos of travels.
